I was talking to my daughter yesterday about the unique quality of art. It's the best thing in the world, and it can't ever be wrong. When I was younger, I never felt like I had any type of artistic talent whatsoever. As I got older and forgot to care so much about what others thought, it began to shine through. I love that my daughter has never been afraid of how people view her artistic work. Whether it's writing, sculpting, painting, or just doodling on a piece of paper, it's all your own. It's art and it can't be wrong. Let it shine through and enjoy it.
Recently, I had an idea for new displays. When you go to a show, it's easy for your jewelry display to look like everyone elses. When you have something more unique, like we do, you want it to stand out and be separate. My thought was to take our great logo and make her our model. A trip to Lowes later, I now am the proud owner of my very own jigsaw! A few practice cuts and were off and running. I figured the worst that could happen is I wold end up paying someone else to make my vision come alive. But it worked and we now have several silhouette models that we are anxious to unveil at this weekends Bay to Bay Stroll. If you are in the Tampa area, stop by and see us.
